As even the most simple message can be misunderstood or misinterpreted, let me explain my points: 1. The bible gives clear and specific directions as to how leprosy can be cured, (Leviticus 14). 2. That advice given is provably false. 3. Therefore the bible cannot be the infallible, inerrant word of a god. Once it is shown that the bible contains provable nonsense the clock, so to speak, has struck 13. It forces any rational person to question anything and everything else in the bible. 4. The idea that the bible contains scientific foreknowledge is a joke. Those that seek to show that it does end up using tactics that are nothing short of dishonest. 5. The idea that "running water", as appears in Leviticus 15.13, foretell of germ theory is risible at best. Leviticus 15 follows on from the advice on leprosy given in Leviticus 14. To select one verse from 3 chapters (see also Lev 13) to support the argument of biblical foreknowledge and ignore the context of that one selected verse is dishonest. This was the most difficult video I’ve ever had to edit as I had to cut out so many great anecdotes, interesting facts and amazing products. Seriously, I think I could easily have made a 10 minute film for each decade! Anyway here is a little glimpse of my visit to the house and collection of Madeleine Marsh. I tried to stay calm and focused but inside I was bursting to get my hands on all the amazing treasures that surrounded me! The second half of this video will feature the 1940’s through to the 70’s and some incredible items - Mary Quant crayons, the IT palette all the cool British girls aspired to own during the war and a powder compact in the shape of a grand piano... to name just a few! en.wikipedia.org Third Stone From the Sun is a song written and originally recorded by Jimi Hendrix and released as "3rd Stone From The Sun" on the 1967 Are You Experienced album by Jimi Hendrix Experience. It is mostly an instrumental, but includes pieces of spoken word, performed by Hendrix, over the music. Because the song mixes the styles of rock and jazz, it is often cited as one of the earliest examples of fusion. The title 3rd Stone From the Sun is a direct reference to Earth, which is the third planet away from the Sun in the Solar System. The song features slowed-down voices and dialogues between Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler. They wanted to reproduce the spacy sounds from Star Trek. The word Stone in the title was a way to depict the Earth from an alien point of view. This song, along with "Purple Haze," was frequently covered live by Jaco Pastorius. Part of the guitar chorus melody has been quoted on other records, amongst them The Amboy Dukes ("Baby, Please Don’t Go"), Cozy Powell ("Dance With The Devil"), Weather Report ("Slang"), The Allman Brothers ("Mountain Jam"), DEVO (a cover of Hendrix’s "Are You Experienced"), and Right Said Fred ("I’m Too Sexy").
